JOB PURPOSE

Be the Marketing Project Lead and SEO expert for Pioneer’s Website and Microsite development; regularly updates and maintains content, and technical SEO of company websites and microsites; ensures that the website content and experience are customer-centric aligning with company goals, industry standards for accessibility, and SEO best practices, securing an exceptional online experience for our valued customers.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Web Projects

• Collaborate with Business Units and Account Leads to understand their needs and goals for their website/microsites.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including Account Leads, Digital Marketing Team, Creatives/Copywriters and Digital Transformation Teams/Developers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Identify the best UX/UI for new websites/microsites.
• Ensure that all websites/microsites are user-friendly, responsive, and mobile optimized, and all projects meet or exceed expectations and industry standards by creating wireframes and mockup screens.
• Ensure all websites/microsites are built to meet the company’s needs and goals, as well as industry standards for accessibility and SEO best practices.
• Oversees the development and launch of multiple websites/microsites simultaneously.
• Reviews and approves all website design and development work before it is launched.
• Drive more relevant organic traffic to pioneer.com.ph and Insureshop.ph by optimizing our pages and having audience, persona and buying stage in mind.
• Continuously monitor search terms, rankings and analytics to understand performance and implement corrections.
• Implement recommendations from SEO tools.

Content Collaboration

• Collaborate with the Marketing and PR Teams for content creation and improvement on our websites and microsites.
• Coordinates with Pioneer digital marketing team concerned parties to manage content on the website which can be beneficial from the marketing point of view (e.g. target market, brand proposition, customer experience, etc.)

Technical SEO

• Implement technical SEO improvements, and necessary trackers and tags
• Coordinate with our SEO agency for technical SEO assessment and implementation
• Identify, analyze and highlight any technical errors that might prevent pages to be indexed or crawled correctly by search engines.
• Work closely with Digital Transformation department to correct any web pages with such errors.

Reporting and Monitoring

• Monitoring search algorithms and keyword ranking set by search engines to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape and implement best practices.
• Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly SEO KPIs while increasing conversions.
• Regularly perform keyword research
• Tracks and reports the performance of Insureshop and other websites/microsites.
• Keeps himself/herself abreast of relevant market technology, industry trends and competitor developments as input to Business Units as well as the conceptualization of marketing/sales campaigns.
• Liaises with Pioneer designated Marketing personnel to implement actionable strategies based on thoroughly reviewed and processed data.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Applications, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing/Media, or related discipline preferred.
• SEO/SEM Certifications preferred
• Certifications for Google Analytics, BrightEdge, and other SEO/web analytics tools are a PLUS.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and command of English language.
• 4 years of total experience in the digital marketing industry
• 2+ years of experience as a WordPress Website Development Project Manager in an agency environment.
• Strong understanding of website development best practices and technologies
• Great attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Demonstrable SEO competence and experience is ESSENTIAL.
• Must be conversant in information architecture, on-page, and off-page SEO.
• Must be knowledgeable on current SEO as part of digital marketing mix.
• Coding experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP or other web dev languages.
• Experience with Website hosting, debugging, and WordPress troubleshooting would be a plus.
