Purpose of role

The Security Analyst role will bring a first level of support for SAP Operation across all Inchcape’s markets.


Job role and responsibilities:

Scope:

  • Identify and apply the procedures, processes and guidelines that are efficient, focused on the quality of the process and adhere to corporate SAP security standards.
  • Do basic analysis / tasks over SAP ECC/BW-BPC/FIORI/PI-PO/IAS/BTPusers and roles.
  • Execute standard and advanced reports
  • Knowledge of incident management tool and requirements

Strategy & Planning

  • Supports the improvement of the Security Team setup itself (e.g. reports missing documentation, or wrong alert thresholds).

Operational Management:

  • Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client
  • Understand engagement as it relates to client's business
  • Demonstrate knowledge in SAP Application Security
  • Communicate client expectations to the engagement team
  • Be part of a team working on global projects.
  • Ability to identify and communicate issues/risks to the team lead or end user to facilitate timely resolution

Formal Education & Certification:

  • University degree in the field of computer science or management information systems or a related discipline


Skills and Experience Required:

General Knowledge and Experience

  • General knowledge about SAP software.
  • Audit and Access Control: Research and monitoring of access controls, SoD analysis, and compliance reporting.
  • Case Management and User Administration: Handling user provisioning, role assignments, and security requests across SAP R/3, S/4HANA, FIORI, BTP, IAS.
  • SAP Systems Roles and Governance: Design and maintenance of roles, centralized access management, and identity synchronization.
  • Security Monitoring and Compliance: Implementation of alerts, password policies, SSO, and risk mitigation strategies for SAP environments.

Personal Attributes

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure and high-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.
  • Ability to write & present technical & design documents.
  • Able to conduct research into issues and products as required, and document outcomes.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Work Conditions

  • Rotating shifts including morning and evening shifts and availability weekends

  • SAP Security& Basis consultants - DDC
  • Some end users for the different markets
