Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Reports directly to the VP-Finance and oversees day-to-day accounting, treasury, and financial operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
2. Develops and implements robust accounting processes to ensure accurate cost allocation for products and services.
3. Supervises and ensures the accuracy of financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
4. Provides financial insights and strategic advice on cash flow management, budgeting, profit planning, capital expenditures, and sales forecasting in collaboration with Senior Management.
5. Offers technical expertise on complex accounting issues and continuously evaluates processes for improvements.
6. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address accounting and financial concerns.
7. Prepares financial reports and variance analyses, highlighting deviations from budgets and providing recommendations.
8. Ensures strong corporate governance and risk management practices in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
9. Manages timely and accurate month-end, quarterly, and year-end financial closings and liaises with tax authorities and auditors (internal and external).
10. Leads, mentors, and develops a team of accounting professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
11. Recommends and implements financial controls and best practices to safeguard company assets.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
3. Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in Finance and Accounting
4. Proficient in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
5. Highly proficient in both oral and written English and confident in dealing with expatriates
6. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance
7. Well developed interpersonal skills.  Ability to get along well with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible with a highly acute sense of professional ethics and accountability.
