About the role


As a Senior PR Manager at GoTyme Bank, you will play a vital role in communicating the bank’s strategies effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. You will be tasked to continuously deliver postivie media coverage for the brand by initiating PR activities such as creating official releases for new products and services, building trust and recognition for the brand and maintaining relationships with key media outlets.


The Senior PR Manager will also lead the development and execution of a crisis communications plan for GoTyme Bank. This includes creating a proactive reputation management strategy that would help identify potential risks and prepare actionable plans that would address the potential crisis at hand.



  • Manage and oversee all PR activities including writing official press releases, monitoring all media coverages, overseeing leadership interviews, and creating post mortem reports
  • Develop and mainitain relations with the media
  • Develop and implement a PR strategy for the brand
  • Create and manage a yearly PR calendar for the brand
  • Develop compelling story angles for the bank (leadership, product stories, brand stories)
  • Develop crisis communications when needed
  • Organize press events such as media launches and media roundtables
  • Lead the operations of the website’s blog (content strategy and creation of blog entries)
  • Manage the LinkedIn page of the bank for any leadership updates
  • Monitor and analyze developments that could impact GoTyme Bank, ensuring that key messages and actions are aligned with business goals.



Must haves


  • Minimum 6 years of working in PR / Crisis Comms
  • Substantial experience in media relations and has established relationships with the media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that would simplify complex and technical language for the audience.
  • Proven ability to protect the company’s reputation
