The Site Cost Engineer will be responsible for accurately estimating and managing the costs of construction projects, analyzing project specifications, and ensuring projects are completed within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed cost estimation and analysis for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to develop accurate budgets and implement cost control strategies.
• Monitor project expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Prepare and present comprehensive cost reports and forecasts, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Review contract documents to ensure compliance with budgetary requirements and cost guidelines.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
• Analyze and manage change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
• Provide technical support to on-site teams regarding cost-related issues.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, identify potential cost implications, and resolve any cost-related concerns.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction cost management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a cost engineer, quantity surveyor, or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction cost estimation methods, including quantity take-offs and pricing analysis.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to be assigned to Angeles City, Pampanga
