We are in search of an experienced Technical Writer is responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining documentation related to the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) solely intended for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 project. This includes policies, procedures, guidelines, and audit reports to ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards. The role requires collaboration with technology, security, and compliance teams, including external ISO consultants, to accurately document processes, risk assessments, and controls, ensuring a successful ISO application.

Salary: PHP 25,000

Project-based: 6 months

Basic Qualifications:

> Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related course.

> Relevant Work Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Experience working with document management systems and version control.
• Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in information security or compliance.

> Certifications: Licensure or Certification as a Technical Content Writer, Product Documentation Analyst, and Content Developer is a plus

> Skills and Knowledge

• Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and ISMS documentation requirements.
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ISO 27001-compliant documentation, including policies, procedures, and security guidelines;
• Work closely with the governance team, including but not limited to technology, security, and ISO compliance teams to gather information and ensure accuracy
• Review and update documentation based on audit findings, regulatory changes, and process improvements;
• Ensure documentation aligns with ISO 27001 controls and organizational security objectives;
• Assist in preparing weekly reports, training materials, and compliance-related communications;
• Manage document control processes to ensure versioning and accessibility; and
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
